KLOSTERFELDE was established in January 1996 in a transformed passageway on Linienstrasse 160 in Berlin-Mitte in order to exhibit and promote international contemporary art.
In 2001, the gallery moved to larger exhibition spaces in an industrial building on Zimmerstrasse 90/91.
Eight years later, Klosterfelde moved to a new location on Potsdamer Strasse 93 - a former residential building from 1882 in Berlin-Tiergarten.
