In 2001, Sönke Magnus Müller opened the Gallery Magnus Müller in Berlin-Mitte. He has studied art history, classic archaeology and Romance languages in Florence, Rome, Paris and at the Free University in Berlin. He has gained experiences in the art world, working as an art critic and as a curator at various institutions, such as the New National Gallery in Berlin, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
