Since July 2009, the Ernst Schering Foundation has presented contemporary international visual art in the heart of Berlin and offered a public platform for the interdisciplinary dialogue among science, the arts and society.
In its Project Space at Unter den Linden, measuring almost 80 square meters, the Foundation designs and presents shows by contemporary artists, organizes public academic lectures and initiates workshops at the interface of science and art. A particular focus is on art as research and on artistic positions that stimulate interdisciplinary debate. In cooperation with national and international partners, the Project Space also hosts exhibitions by major international artists.
