An exhibition of original artist toys handmade by a group of international artists from India, Pakistan, Estonia, Java, UK and Europe. Artworks use the aesthetic language and the interactive element of play of toys but they also hint at the complexity of life in modern society. Social, economic and political issues such as feminism, cross/transgender identity, religion, urban v/s rural etc are just some of the topics that underpin the works in the show. The show comprises of videos, paintings and toys made out of diverse materials such as human hair, barbie dolls. wooden blocks, colouring books, lego music machines, flick books and many more! Some toys are interactive and invite the visitor to indulge in the childlike sense of play.
