Finissage of the group show « Papel, Papel »: Ines Doleschal, a Berlin-based artist, will give a talk (in german) about contemporary drawing and introduce the artists of the exhibition.

« Papel, Papel » displays the works of nine artists - Ronald Cornelissen, Paul van der Eerden, Gilgian Gelzer, Michel Gouéry, Alexandre Leger, Odile Maarek, Diana Quinby, Elmar Trenkwalder and Ina van Zyl - who have all placed drawing at the center of their artistic practice.

Ines Doleschal will confirm that the drawing, which was long dismissed as a preparatory sketch, today occupies a significant place in the art. In fact, nowadays one can see exhibitions, art fairs exclusively dedicated to drawing.

The drawing is based on the simplest means: ink, coal, pencil, paper and a world opens up, an artistic thought takes shape, new projects emerge...
