In conjunction with the current Ars Electronica exhibition "Human Factor – Endless Prototyping" at DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum, artist Patrick Tresset talks with Jan Kage from FluxFM about his currently exhibited work "Human Study #1, 3RNP" and his artistic practice in general. In this theatrical installation, human subjects are sketched by three robots serving in the role of artists.

Patrick Tresset (FR/UK) has developed a series of theatrical installations featuring robots as the key players. He uses computer systems that integrate artistic, expressive and obsessive aspects into the behavior of the robot. His work has been exhibited in renowned museums, including the Centre Pompidou (Paris), Tate Modern (London), Museum of Israel (Jerusalem), Victoria and Albert Museum (London), MMCA (Seoul), BOZAR (Brussels) and Prada Foundation (Milan), and presented at festivals and events ranging from the Ars Electronica and Update_5, to WRO 2015 and BIAN Montréal.

Under the title "Human Factor – Endless Prototyping", some 30 international artists explore the conflict between the opportunities and risks of man-made progress. The group exhibition will be open at DRIVE. Volkswagen Group Forum until August 27, 2016. "Human Factor – Endless Prototyping" features artworks that address the key issues and challenges of the digital age and reflect the human factor in the context of an increasingly engineered environment.
