The engravings of Typographus, the tree-patterning beetle and lines of railway tracks weave together the works of two printmakers rebuilding their personal discoveries and experiences. Exhibition consists graphic prints, photographs and objects.
Both artists work with analogic photography and traditional printmaking. Lately Emma Lappalainen has worked with wet plate collodium technique. Jyrki Markkanen makes his prints with polymer mixed with various intaglio printing. Recently their images have started to grow into 3-dimensional objects as well.
