Michel Andrade

Seeing through Andrade's work, it becomes clear that he feels a warm fascination for misfits and outcasts, for youth and what comes with that. His work feels cuddly, as well as odd. Andrade was born in the Netherlands
a son of Cape Verdian parents, and was a professional Thai Boxer for some years. After he quit the heavy everyday training he found himself this second love and started developping a real personal style with his pieces he paints on wooden boards that he collects wandering the streets.
