OBLIVION is about the tension between the desire to last forever and the inevitable passage of time. The topic of fading memory is explored through the works of five international artists working with different media.
OBLIVION is curated by art historian Elisa Rusca.
The book OBLIO comes with the exhibition; OBLIO is not only the catalogue of the show: it is a collection of several essays related to the topic of memory, expanding the exhibition concept -there are contributions by a neurologist and a chemist using nanotechnologies to restore renaissance frescos among others. OBLIO is edited by Broken Dimanche Press, distributed by Motto, and it will be presented during the opening night.
