LiTE-HAUS Galerie + Projektraum welcomes photographer Ralf Kutschke’s exhibition “In a train through North Korea”. Kutschke presents photos of his travels through both urban and rural areas of this mysterious country that few Westerners have experienced.
The artist will discuss his work and answer questions during the artist talk on November 15th at 7pm (19:00) at LiTE-HAUS. This is a free event.
Kutschke, a photographer who also works with the German railroad Deutsche Bahn, traveled to North Korea in October 2015 with the intent to make his own impressions firsthand. In a special train from the Chinese border in the north he went to the North Korean capital of Pyongyang and further south to Panmunjom, at the high-security border to South Korea. He observed landscape and lifestyle rarely seen by outsiders up close. Now you can share in his journey through his photos of the rugged and beautiful country of North Korea.
