LiTE-HAUS welcomes multi-discipline visual artist Scott Shepard's exhibition of his colorful paintings. Shepard's work has been exhibited in the US, Spain, and Berlin. He is a native of Connecticut (USA), now living in Berlin. Resolutely abstract, Shepard's unconventional paintings directly address the wall, the room and human scale. While earlier wall paintings more promiscuously explored various found materials as supports, the recent work tends to be painted on wood or steel. Related projects have included a sound wall with 23 speakers (ongoing), and various notes for sculptures worked out with 3D software. His artwork asks the question "How does color impact how we perceive space and how does the placement of color in space make us feel?"
