Die Galerie Kai Dikhas hält inne und wirft mit neuen Arbeiten von neun Künstlern aus ganz Europa einen Blick zurück auf zweieinhalb Jahre bewegte Ausstellungsarbeit und mehr als 25 Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland. Stopping Place heißt soviel wie Rastplatz oder Ruhestelle. Für uns sind die Kunstwerke Wegmarken, an denen wir reflektierend nach vorne und zurück blicken.

Nachdem die Vorgängerausstellungen STOPPING PLACES I (2011) und STOPPING PLACES II (2012) sich mit der Frage nach Identität und der Bedeutung der Deutungshoheit über selbige befassten, ist STOPPING PLACES III Bilanz und Gegenwartsdiagnose. Dem diesjährigen Ruf nach einem gemeinsamen Stopping Place sind neun sehr unterschiedlich arbeitende Künstler gefolgt. Das Ergebnis ist ein abwechslungsreiches Kaleidoskop, sowohl hinsichtlich der unterschiedlichen, künstlerischen Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten, wie auch des divergierenden Umgangs mit der sie einenden Thematik.

Die Galerie freut sich, im Rahmen der Ausstellung zwei neue Künstler, den Spanier MANOLO GÓMEZ ROMERO und den Ungarn HENRIK KÁLLAI, zeigen zu dürfen und sie gleichzeitig für das Jahr 2014 anzukündigen.

The Gallery Kai Dikhas holds on and takes through new art works of nine contemporary artists a look back towards two and a half eventful years of exhibition work - and to more than 25 exhibitions in Germany and abroad. To us, the art works are the stopping places, or the milestones where we stop to take a reflecting view back and one to the future.

STOPPING PLACES III is both an opportunity to take a stock and a diagnosis of the present. This year nine artists, who work very heterogeneously followed our call for a common stopping place. The out-come is a diversified kaleidoscope, as to the different artificial means of expression, as well as to the diverging exposure of their uniting topic.

The gallery is glad to be able to present two new artists within this exhibition - the Spanish MANOLO GÓMEZ ROMERO and the Hungarian HENRIK KÁLLAI. By doing so we want to announce their upcoming solo shows for the coming year 2014.
