On the 28th of March 2017, Art Space and Cultural Centre 'SomoS' will reveal the work of one of its current residents Natusha Croes who has arrived in Berlin from Aruba.
Natusha creates music compositions with a visual affinity; manipulating the sound of organic pieces through digital means such as loop machines and music production softwares. This will act as the leading base for her explorative performances connecting the performer (body), object and sound.
Her work comes from a deep love for introspection, touching themes such as vulnerability, identity, personal-impersonal contact, honesty and the human condition revealed through poetics.
She works using a variety of mediums, however finds most of her comfort through the work of performance art. With a strong affinity for unconventional music production, Natusha communicates her message using a combination of audio-visual experiences, one-on-one performances, live art and multi-media storytelling; perpetuating a crossover creator.
During this event, you will get to witness a sketch performance of what the artist has been developing so far at SomoS during her residency program accompanied by a brief presentation about her performance work.
