As it is becoming a tradition, every three months culturia is presenting its artists in residence show at João Cocteau. The works exhibited represent the culmination of each artist’s personal experience during their three-month residency in Berlin. In this occasion, the show introduces the works of Greek artist, Elena Chronopoulou and Korean, Yoon Hee Kim. Emerging from different backgrounds and practices, these two artists embody an approach to art-making that is both innovative but reflective and studious.

The 2012 summer culturia residency that concludes now also involved the participation of Italian artist Cristina Meloni. Her research work during her three months in Berlin will be presented on 23 November 2012 in an exhibition organized by the Sardisches Kulturzentrum Berlin e.V. in Grimmuseum, that will also include the work of culturia former resident, Alessandro Sau.
