What awaits the viewer?
The philosophical approach towards the given theme of the exhibition is blazing a trail through the diversity of working materials of the individual artists. The current exhibition shows collage-like elements combined with acrylic, oil, paint and photography realized in many different manners. Eleven approaches all interpreting the theme through either classic or surrealist painting, extreme or minimal photography, performative installation, acrylic spraying on canvas, Aluminium Dibond to photo paper. Yet each work stands on its own, has its own reason for existence and reflects a piece of the soul of the individual artist. The "personal touch" is recognizable and yet it is clear that each artist has innovated in his or her working methods.
This exhibition is a compound of diverse works by artists from many different regions of the globe and how they all interpret human life on the edge of despair.
