Learning to see: A painting is a space, space is motion, motion is rhythm.
Contemplating the genesis of space, originating not in the depths of perspective but in the rhythmical fragmentation of the surface.
Surfaces have two dimensions. With the motion, which is pattern, ruling and swing, two other dimensions are added: space and time. This is the reason for the panoramic view, the labyrinthine vastness with its cracks and edges.
The paintings become spaces for the passage of time, mapping the moments of shadow and light. Through them we catch a glimpse of the back rooms of perception, open and analogue.
