The upcoming exhibition curated by Marc Volk will show selected results of the task “Little Red Riding Hood” at Neue Schule für Fotografie.
19 students interpret in small photographic narratives the famous Grimm fairy tale in a photographically and artistically sophisticated way. They will thus deal with issues that accompany the way of a woman who is growing up. The narrative works are dealing among others with the discovery of a woman’s own sexuality, the perception of self-determination and heteronomy, the confrontation with evil, being lost and finding oneself – shortly; with the ever present question of “the right way”.
