Mobile artists archive has moved again and installed the artists files in art space of Apartment Project Berlin. The exhibition of the archive comprising submissions of nearly two hundred berlinerpool artists is accompanied by a program of presentations, talks and video screenings.

Join us at the opening evening where we will present the main focuses of berlinerpool, describe current projects and open up points for co-operation.

The archive is a living organism created for documentation of the work of artists, artists groups and curators, to motivate and support their activities in organizing and curating art projects.

Funding Arts sessions show new strategies in the art scene regarding funding opportunities for artistic research and art projects. In this session we would like to discuss Start-up models which are born from cooperation of group of artists in order to support artistic practice and the local art community.

Guest lecture with Vassiliea Stylianidou

berlinerpool invites Vassiliea Stylianidou, a Greek artist based in Berlin, to present her newest projects, which implement a method of personal archiving and collecting through collaboration with artists, curators and theoreticians. For Vassiliea Stylianidou the artistic process involves a constant renegotiation of public and private history as well as public and private spaces. Stylianidou´s work deals with the limits inherent in systems of order and discipline such as architecture, nature, family, power, language and collectivity.
During her presentation Vassiliea Stylianidou will introduce her three recent projects:
