Pieces of Berlin is a photo blog about the world’s most marvellous city and its inhabitants. It attempts to lie out and capture a profile of Berlin’s everyday life in its entirety by way of approaching random people on the street, shooting a portrait of them, and inquiring about their homes and the city they live in.

First launched in March 2010, Pieces of Berlin documents both, the current cityscape and the on-going change of our sprawling metropolis. From those that have just arrived to those that have lived in Berlin their whole life, the photo blog captures the diversity of the people of Germany’s capital.

The photographer, Florian Fleischauer, documents the constant architectural evolution and the new forms of public art and graffiti these changes inevitably bring. Artconnect Berlin is proud to present the recent works of Florian Reischauer at our headquarters on Boddinstraße.
