galerie burster is pleased to invite you to the opening of our exhibition Valentin Hennig — five membranes on saturday, february 7th from 6pm to 9pm. Until april 11th recent animations and video films will be shown next to installations and paintings.
The key motif in the video artist’s work is the human body, presented through a combination of animation and film in its fights, connections, mutations and the relationship to its surroundings.
The US American novelist and poet Tom Whalen will give an introduction to the exhibition.
Furthermore we are happy to announce the screening of Ulu Braun’s The Flooding of the Viktoria Plains (2004), an expressive short movie in miniature settings, on february 12th at 7pm. After the screening there will be an artist talk between the filmmaker and Valentin Hennig.
